At 21,819, the number of people employed by the KION Group was slightly higher than at the end of 2012 (21,215), by which date the employees in the hydraulics division were already no longer included. The number of service and sales jobs rose while the headcount in production fell slightly. A regional breakdown shows particularly strong growth in the number of employees in the emerging markets and as a result of the acquisition of Arser in Turkey (+122).
