Level of orders

The value of order intake at KION amounted to €8,445.0 million in the first three quarters of 2026 (Q1–Q3 2025: €8,882.0 million). Both operating segments recorded a year-on-year decline in their order intake. The decrease in the Intelligent Automation Solutions segment was attributable to the high figure for the comparative period, which had been boosted by the record level of order intake in the second quarter of 2025. In the Industrial Trucks & Services segment, momentum declined over the course of the year following a first quarter that had benefited from orders being brought forward.

The Group’s order book stood at €4,884.3 million as at the reporting date (December 31, 2025: €4,892.3 million^**). Currency effects had a positive impact on the order book, increasing it by €110.0 million.
