Financial position and financial performance
KION has made a positive start to 2026. Consolidated revenue was roughly on a par with the prior-year quarter, although revenue development in the Industrial Trucks & Services (ITS) and Intelligent Automation Solutions (IAS)* segments moved in opposite directions. KION saw its adjusted EBIT and adjusted EBIT margin both advance noticeably compared with the first quarter of 2025, thanks in part to the increasingly positive impact of the completed efficiency program. The Group’s order intake also increased strongly in the reporting period on the back of a positive trend in both operating segments. Free cash flow was comfortably into positive territory, despite the variable remuneration paid out to employees in the first quarter and the cash outflows resulting from the efficiency program.
