Level of orders

The value of order intake at KION amounted to €5,794.1 million in the first half of 2026 (H1 2025: €6,206.1 million), with both operating segments registering a year-on-year decrease. In the Intelligent Automation Solutions segment, the high comparative figure for the prior-year period – due to the record level of order intake in the second quarter of 2025 – had a notable impact. In the Industrial Trucks & Services segment, momentum declined noticeably in the second quarter following a first quarter that was boosted by orders being brought forward.

The Group’s order book swelled to €5,069.6 million as at June 30, 2026 (December 31, 2025: €4,892.3 million*). Currency effects had a positive impact on the order book, increasing it by €90.6 million.
